Scoring on the course involves many different variables which is one of the reasons so many people love the game of golf. One of the most important aspects is knowing EXACTLY how far you hit each club:  carry distance as well as total distance.

Now it is one thing to learn how far you carry the ball with a FULL swing with each club.  But as you know, golfers are limited to a maximum of 14 clubs.  This means when faced with a hitting a shot that is shorter than the distance your most lofted wedge carries, you must change your approach.  You must learn to how to hit a partial  or finesse shot as it is often called.

These finesse wedge shots can be very challenging.  Golfers often say that just don't have the confidence to hit this shot with any consistency.  In reality, it's typically not a lack of confidence, it is a lack of understanding the correct technique.
